1611 Edition of The Faerie Queene Part of National Library Week at Duquesne
A rare and valuable 1611 edition of Edmund Spenser's The Faerie Queene, a landmark work in English literature, was among the rare books on display at Duquesne as part of National Library Week. Dr. Robert Giannetti, GA'79, a poet and the former owner of Bob's Olde Books, an antiquarian bookstore in Lewiston, N.Y., donated the 405-year-old edition to the University last year in honor of his late dissertation advisor, Dr. Foster Provost.

Tracey McCants Lewis, L'00, assistant clinical professor and pro bono program coordinator for the Duquesne School of Law, has been selected as a speaker for TEDxPittsburgh, a unique and prestigious forum for showcasing ideas, individuals and innovations that are redefining the city. The theme of this year's event is "Activate: Ideas in Motion," and her presentation will focus on activating forgiveness.
