Mission Statement of the Young Alumni Council |
|
The purpose of the Young Alumni Council is to advocate for the needs of young alumni and foster young alumni programming. The Duquesne University Alumni Association seeks to actively engage Duquesne alumni who have graduated in the last 10 years. Non-traditional students who graduated in the last 10 years might not be "young", but may still be "early career professionals" - and are welcome to be involved.
The Council seeks to serve and support recent graduates with programs and communications that are uniquely tailored to their own needs and perspective on Duquesne. It seeks to foster and sustain the active involvement of young alumni in the support of the Duquesne University and the Alumni Association. The Council will also act to foster the development of volunteers and future leaders in ways that deepen their commitment to the University and prepare them for active roles in alumni relations.
