This course will explore positional conflicts and the pitfalls of issue advocacy. 
May a lawyer argue position X for one client and, in an unrelated matter, argue
legal position not-X?  We will consider the force and effect of the oaths we take, what
it means to act pro bono public, and the problematic maxim, "salus populi

Education Board for zero (0) hours of substantive law, practice and procedure
