The Mission of the Office of Alumni Engagement, and the Alumni Association, is to create opportunities for alumni to foster lifelong engagement, affinity and pride within the Duquesne community to further the mission of the University.

We envision an alumni body that spreads the good news about the University and demonstrates pride in their alma mater.

We envision a group of alumni that want to engage other alumni in the life of the University, regularly volunteer on the University's behalf, and support the University financially, spiritually and intellectually.

We envision current students that see their future as active and engaged alumni and consider themselves alumni from the day they enroll.

We envision an alumni program that creates opportunities for engagement in all ages/stages of life, and for those who are close to campus or afar.

We envision a University that instinctively thinks to involve alumni in existing programming and communications.

Strategic Goal 1

To grow alumni volunteer involvement within the University and surrounding community by cultivating new volunteers, creating new opportunities for volunteer engagement, and stewarding existing volunteers.

Strategic Goal 2

Develop new and further develop existing chapter, regional, and online programs to expand the opportunities for alumni to be involved with the University.

Strategic Goal 4

Develop appropriate programming and specialized, targeted communication for alumni of various age brackets and life stages.

Strategic Goal 5
