The Century Club

The Century Club was established in 1978 in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the University’s founding. Outside of an honorary degree, this award remains the highest honor any alumnus or alumna may receive from Duquesne. It is meant to recognize the exceptional achievements of our notable graduates. Any Duquesne graduate is eligible for membership. Members are selected, however, based on ALL of the following criteria:

  • Demonstrated success and distinction in the graduate’s professional field of endeavor
  • Significant contributions to humanity through public or humanitarian service
  • Service to Duquesne University

Nominations for induction into the Century Club are made by members of the Century Club, Deans or Cabinet Members of the University and are selected by a small committee of alumni and administrators.  Induction of new members takes place at the President's Dinner during Homecoming and Family Weekend.
