Alumni Volunteers are vital to both the Alumni Association and University. We welcome you to explore opportunities for involvement at a variety of commitment levels.

The Alumni Board of Governors is the voice for Duquesne’s more than 100,000 alumni and has representatives from each of the schools and several affinity groups. Board members are elected to 2-year terms.
D.A.R.T. members are trained volunteers from around the country who are dedicated to assisting the University outreach and recruit new and prospective students. Historically, this was most often done by conducting high-school visits and staffing college fairs when Admissions staff are unable to attend due to scheduling constraints. However, the Office of Alumni Engagement and the division of Enrollment Management are always looking for new and creative ways that our alumni can support our enrollment goals. Join our D.A.R.T. to learn more and be involved in future opportunities.
Share your input via our electronic survey program that will gather alumni feedback ion communication, programming and various University initiatives. The program is open to alumni of any age, with any degree from Duquesne.
Service is at the heart of who we are, and that doesn't change once you leave the Bluff. Duquesne Alumni act as brand ambassadors by bringing our heart for service off of the bluff. Participate in one of our service events, or work with our office of Alumni Engagement to plan one in your community.
Special celebrations are held during Homecoming and Family Weekend and other milestone events for pre-determined affinity groups and the class celebrating their 50th Reunion. Volunteers from these groups assist with outreach to group members and classmates in order to encourage attendance throughout Homecoming Weekend.
Social Media Ambassadors regularly share content from Duquesne Alumni Engagements’ social media accounts that interests them and that they believe would resonate with alumni in their social networks. We encourage Ambassadors to be as active as possible given their work and personal schedules, and to be especially active leading up to and during alumni events.
